The Old Rugged Cross
(ÇèÇÑ ½ÊÀÚ°¡)
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suffering and shame
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain
So I¡¯ll cherish the old rugged cross till my trophies
at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown
In the old rugged cross stained with blood so divine
A wondrous beauty I see for ¡®twas on that old cross
Jesus suffered and died to pardon and sanctify me
So I¡¯ll cherish the old rugged cross
till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown
To the old rugged cross
I will ever be true, Shame and reproach
I¡¯ll gladly bear then He¡¯ll call me someday
To my home where His glory forever
So I¡¯ll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown
So I¡¯ll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown
Old rugged cross someday for a crown
