We Are The Reason

 

As little children we would Dream of Christmas morn

Of all the gifts and toys We knew we’d find

But we never realized, A baby boy born One blessed night

Gave us the greatest gift of my lives

We were the reason That He gave His life

We were the reason That He suffered and died

To a world that was lost He gave all He could give

우리는 선물과 장난감이 가득한 크리스마스 아침을 꿈꾸고 했었죠
우리가 찾고자 했다는 건 사실이지만 우리는 결코 깨닫지는 못했었죠.
우리에게 가장 큰 선물을 주신 한 아기가 어느 거룩한 밤에 태어났다는 것을

 

그는 우리 때문에 그의 생명을 주셨죠 그는 우리 때문에 고통 속에서 죽었죠
길 잃은 세상 속에 그는 모든 것을 주셨죠 우리가 살아야 할 이유를 보여주셨죠

 

시간이 지날수록
우리에게 주신 선물과 그것의 의미를 더 알게 되었죠
어둡고 흐린 그날 비속에서 한 남자가 울며 처형되었죠
오로지 사랑 때문에, 오로지 사랑 때문에

 

마침내, 내가 살아가는 이유를 깨닫게 되었죠
나의 모든 것을 그분께 드리는 것이죠
제가 할 수 있는 모든 것이자 유일한 말은
그분을 위해, 그분을 위해 나의 모든 것을 드릴 것 이란 것입니다.
그분은 내가 살아야 할 이유이기 때문입니다.
